eebee’s Mix & Mash adventures in the Kitchen for Baby & You

Surprise! I'm early with our first giveaway here at Santa's Picks! Until a few weeks ago, I had never heard of eebee's adventures, but now we are huge fans. There are so many different videos and educational toys out there for infants, and while I think it's great to expose your baby to Mozart or foreign languages, the truth is that babies learn with hands on activities. Watching a video with classical music does not produce the results that I think sometimes the commercials and companies try to convince us it does. That's why I am excited about eebee's adventures, because it's all about interactive playing with your infant and toddler.We were sent the all new eebee’s Mix & Mash adventures in the Kitchen for Baby & You to review. The set includes a DVD and cookbook with six great recipes for you and your little one to try together. The DVD is very educational for any parent (even this mommy of four). While I did find it a little silly to watch the host talk to and play with a puppet, there was lots of good information about feeding your baby and how to get your baby involved in the kitchen. I've known for quite awhile that my kiddos learn best from hands-on playing, but honestly I never thought about getting my one year old to help in the kitchen. The DVD also includes a bonus episode of eebee's adventures that Luke really enjoyed. I really liked this one feature in the special features section of the DVD that explained all about how baby's learn while they play.
Being sick, I don't have a ton of groceries in the house, so I took the eebee's Mix & Mash concept and used our own ingredients. Luke was getting a little sleepy, so towards the end he became impatient and just wanted his snack, but we had fun. We took a banana and cut it into slices....
Luke helped add a little bit of cinnamon..... :)
Then we put the lid on and went to shakin'!
By the way he gobbled it down, I think he liked his bananas and cinnamon!
